A rambling album - what else did you expect? The Mondays were never going to come up with a polished piece of pop. The guitars float over you, rather than pick out the notes. It's like one endless sound, stretched up and down the scale. I've no idea what Ryder is singing about. The album is all the better for that.

Can't sing, can't play - somehow they went a long way. I guess the remixes are what pushed this lot over the top, as the first half of this is monotonous and the 'singer' tone deaf. I really don't get this, although it probably made more sense at the time to those under the right influences.
