Blimey. That kicked the shit out of Monday morning. I often overlook Bossanova in favour of Doolittle - clearly a mistake. They work well together as a pair. Velouria is a beast of a song, sweeping up and down the scale. But it's all about the bass for Pixies. BOOM.

Sounds like the Pixies. They set the (excellent) template with Surfer Rosa, and it feels like they kept making the same album since, just with a little less energy.
