Fairly standard late 60s rock fare - reminded me in places of the sort of thing Bowie was doing before he got his act together. Nothing really jumped out here, but pleasant enough.

I was left a little disappointed with this. I had high hopes after listening - and buying - John Barleycorn, as recommended by the 1,001 albums list. This sounds as though it can't escape the heavy blues of the late 60's, despite the band clearly wanting to break through with something different.
