the alice song goes so fucking crazy it makes me want to rank this higher than it really deserves. how come all the songs aren’t that good….i don’t care for his ballad-y stuff nearly as much as the more raucous banging out the tunes tracks because the piano features too heavily in the former songs. i know that playing the piano is literally his whole gig but there you go. fav tracks: all the girls love alice; grey seal

He’s obviously very talented and I’ve been listening to his music in some capacity since I was a little kid but there’s a lot of Elton John flavored filler songs on here. There are a few bangers and his piano playing is INCREDIBLE but it wasn’t enough to sustain my interest for a whole hour and sixteen minutes.
