Live 1966 (The Royal Albert Hall Concert)

My first reaction was "do we really need a bootleg of Dylan, whereas there are already his major albums on the list?" --- and yes, you guess right, I already had an opinion on the matter. But after the first half of the very classic Bob Dylan, starts the electric Dylan part, and it is really worth listening. The fact that people in the audience are not pleased makes it almost better. I'd give a 5 to the second part, but the first part was what I was expecting from a Dylan bootleg (too much mouth harp).

Bob Dylan is one of the greatest song writers of all time, no doubt about it. I know that his vocal style is a major stumbling block for some people, but this live performance allows the emotion behind his lyrics to shine through. The first half is his traditional acoustic set, but the second half is where he goes electric, much to the dismay of some hidebound folkies in the audience. They were wrong then and they’re still wrong now. Bob plus a band adds an extra dimension to the music. Judas-tastic!
