Much prefer this to their more acoustic stuff. Some great songs here (the singles) but found some of the rest a bit formulaic / obvious.

An OK album, but it feels very much of it's time. It's easy to forget how EBTG went from folkie heroes to drum 'n' bass cool kids, almost overnight. It was a change they had to make; the folk noodling had run its course. And so here we have Walking Wounded. It opened up D 'n' B to a wider audience, albeit heavily diluted. I still like the songs and the overall feel of the album. But I'd rather look for something fresh if I've got my horn and whistle crew hat on.
