What a racket. This washed over me - with the racket being full-on throughout (or so it seemed) it all blurred into one big noise pretty quickly, and I lost focus on it. It seems like a lot of work - and egos - have been put into this, but there seemed no light and shade here. I’d be interested to hear the Ornette Coleman originals, but am unlikely to ever intentionally listen to these versions again.
