This was a chore to get through. There's really nothing about this I liked.
I have a lot of nostalgia for Britney. She was my first concert (it was my sister’s birthday gift for the Oops I Did it Again tour), and those big singles sound just like going back home does. This isn’t a very good album, the non-singles aren’t very memorable and frontloading all the hits at the beginning is never a good idea (see also: U2), but seeing where Britney the phenomenon started is always fun to go back to. C
Never thought I'd listen to this album, and now I have. It wasn't for me, and it wasn't particularly good. She has a good singing voice, but overall it is dull and uninteresting for me. Toxic is a banger though. I like that song. 1/5
