I played the hell out of these albums when they came out, so much hoping that Outkast would once again rise to the heights they had with Aquemini, and wanting to like them more than I did. I do like it for how much it highlights the differences in Big Boi's and Andre's production styles, but I think ultimately they are better as a duo. Speakerboxxx (3/5) is a little too maximalist to enjoyably listen to the whole thing in one sitting, so I tend to replay Love Below (3.5/5) more often. 3.25/5
