The Eagles are a little too boring and lightweight for my taste, some highlights aside. Said highlights include biggest hits like the title track and “Life in the Fast Lane”, which deserve their overplayed nature. C+

I gave this a fair shot, but it didn't do much for me. Hotel California is a decent song, though pretty played out. Life in the Fast Lane is tiresome to listen to. The rest of the album just kind of reminded me of bad CSN&Y songs, the best of which is maybe The Last Resort...best in that it sounds to me the least like the Eagles.
The Eagles just aren't very good. This one does have a handful of decent singles though, so that's something. The rest... nah 2/5
