I have never understood the draw of The National. I was hoping this album would convince me otherwise, but it was just ok. I don't see any reason to revisit it, and I have FOMO that I don't get it. 2.5/5

Decent little album. I think I was expecting something a little more Americana from the artist name, and was surprised how post-punky this was. 3.2/5
