I don't like all of the Doors albums, but this one I enjoyed most of the way through.
I always considered this one kind of mid for The Doors, but it has some of their best musicianship in it, their jazziest compositions and the band is up for it. I don’t always love Morrison’s poetry, but he doesn’t feel like the most important member here, despite the title. This is one of the few Doors albums I don’t own, should fix that. B
