Pretty ok soul album. It never wanders far from Let's Get it On, and so it feels kind of samey throughout because of that. But there's some decent arrangements on some of the tunes and I wouldn't complain at listening again.

This went by really quick, but I noticed I kept bobbing my head and dancing around a bit while listening, so I must have liked it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 3.5/5
The sexier, but slightly less impactful and considerably less political What’s Going On, this is undeniably a classic and it goes down smooth. You really don’t need a longer experience here. A-
