Another instant 5! This and Surfer Rosa are probably tied for my favorite Pixies albums and I never get tired of listening to either of them.
A top 5, if not top 3, if not top 1 alt rock album from the best decade for alt rock. Nearly everything about this is immaculate, from the songwriting to production to the performances. There’s maybe one or two songs I don’t love as much, but it’s close enough to perfect. I think I’ll stick with an A-, but give it a 5.
Love this album. Basically all the original Pixies albums are 5/5 though. They're all 4+. 5/5
