Very neutral on this. At times it reminded me of a more boring Peter Gabriel, so nothing really hooked me. Not something I'd turn off if it showed up on a random play, but no going to seek it out either. 3/5

Was looking forward to this one, but ultimately didn't get it and found it boring. Too bad. 2/5
The start of Talk Talk’s experimental streak. We wouldn’t have Spirit of Eden or Laughing Stock without this. I used to undervalue this LP, thinking it was too close to the poppier sound I’m indifferent towards, but it really is brilliant from beginning to end. Essential for art rock fans. A
