I listened to this one twice today. I like a lot of the metal and industrial elements to it, even though the songs firmly rooted in pop don't always do a lot for me. Dying to Forget and Empty Hands both go extremely hard, and overall the album is fun. Even though the entire album isn't for me, it's got enough good stuff that I can see coming back to it from time to time and listening start to finish. 4

Weird album. I've listened to the one before this (2024's album, don't remember the name) and liked some songs and didn't care for others. I think this feels about the same. The highs are pretty high, but I also bounce off a good number of them. Fun album overall though. 3.33/5
