"A fish on a dish is that what you wish". OK, I think I really needed to listen this album to find at last my most profound need. Or perhaps it just shows how good 'shrooms were back in the day. There are also deep universal truths as "amoebas are very small". OK, enough laugh. The album is really dated, the usage of middle-eastern or asian instruments is really typical of this period. It has a characteristic folk sound, and that's not my favourite flavor of folk. The way the singer sings is also pretty annoying. It may have been influencial, but I found it pretty difficult to listen to.
This starts out like a simple folk album but rapidly mutates into something stranger bringing in multi-tracking, sound effects, weird instruments, psychedelic lyrics and a 13 minute concept piece about an amoeba. Very 60s but it makes you wonder what was in that mushroom stew they were eating.
