I will yOUUUUU WERE HIGH! - my mom realizing what the cousin walk was about at Christmas Here at the duuuuuude raaaaanch - the boys at the Beaver Lodge I’m such a lyrics bitch. I can appreciate a jam, but for Christ’s sake this song is 4 minutes longer than it should be. And this is coming from a Dave Matthews Band fan. Roll tide mention?
The uncanny valley of how perfect all of Steely Dan’s music sounds hits one of its peaks here. That makes it either their worst or their best depending on how you like them. This record makes being a record producer seem as cool as being a rock star. I prefer Gaucho but I love this one, always a treat to revisit.
