Solid 80s pop, he's the king, but I didn't vote for him
The perfect album for a teenaged boy that just learned he's allowed to have feelings
This album sounds like cigarettes in a leather interior on the way to the roller rink
This sure sounds like 2006 - I didn't listen to this genre at the time but it fits right in with the other garage rock bands that I listened to later on. I can't say I'll seek listening to this album, but I wouldn't skip many songs if they came up on a playlist
I started listening and thought "Wow, this is Definitely Not Bikini Kill", only to learn that this was Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill fame. At least she's consistent, I don't love riot grrrl music but I can recognize that what they're doing here is exactly what *someone* is looking for
This album is an hour too long. The only good thing I can say about reggae is it gave way to ska
I want to like it, but I don't
Inoffensive but it's not my favorite, I can see why people like it though
Very much 60s rock, I can close my eyes and I'm at a backyard BBQ with all the dads vibing to this. Fine but not for me
60s/70s pop/rock just aint it for me
It's the Beatles, if you like that kinda thing you'll like this
Kinda sounds like a grunge Beatles with swearing
Prince really knows how to hook you
I'm surprised that I liked this as much as I did - normally I don't go for jam band type music and longform, 11+ minute musical rambling doesn't hold me, but the vibes are just there for this one
I don't think I'm the target audience here
I get why people were obsessed with this album, it's pretty solid! I probably won't listen to it again though
Who knew that not liking the Beatles would translate to not liking one of their solo projects?
I like some Talking Heads, I don't care for them enough to seek out any of their music. I did learn that Warning Sign is not a Local Natives original song though!
