I rarely listen to my copy of this all the way through because of the packaging. 4 10" records at 45 means pretty much constantly flipping. Some killer singles, but it does get long. The percussion is amazing, as is the bass playing - just wish some of the more intricate parts were higher in the mix. 3/5
Space noodling jazz funk. Odd and brilliant.
This is really, really good. A little overlong and laboured in places, perhaps, but it is very good. Apocalypse is probably a more focused and realised album. 3.5/5 rounded down.
Not particularly engaging. It's not terrible, but I didn't really care for it while it was playing and was glad it finished, to be honest. 2 / 5 stars.
