First album doing the 1001 albums that I had to skip some of the tracks. Really not keen. Is Neil Young like Marmite? I know some people absolutely love his work but it's not for me. Oh Lonesome me and When you Dance I can really love were tracks I did listen to all the way through. Good riff on When You Dance. Cripple Creek Ferry is nice and catchy finish, if somewhat a little short.

Interesting band, I've only come across because of Cult of Personality. For some reason I thought Prince might of produced the track but it seems he didn't. Maybe it's that late 80s early 90s sound. It does take me back to that era, I can see this going well with the likes of Ugly Kid Joe et al. Some notable tracks outside of their hit like Desperate People. Great Riff, but that new wave of heavy rock love of long outros made me get board of it. Not sure I would put the album on again.

I think I got this album out from my library when I went through my Depeche Mode discovery phase. Never let me down was always a favourite. Strange Love another hit. I forgot about good tracks like Little 15. Some of the production is a little indulgent and the vocals are what the kids would call simping now, but teenage me lapped it up and it was nice to hear those tracks again.

Really nice album. If not a bit too short. Not really any stand out tracks for me, but a decent album as a whole.

Passenger and Lust for Life are classics, the rest of the album. Okay, not sure I would listen to them again though.

The album you got as a copy on tape from your mate. Really nice to hear the album tracks again that were not major hits. Forgot how good Breed was. If anything the constant radio play has watered down Smell Light Teen Spirit's taste, but at least Nirvana aren't overplayed as much as Stereophonics. Lithium has always been one of my favourites. Being one of the first songs I learned guitar to. "Look Mum I can play bar chords" only being ruined by a mate who read guitar magazine telling you it's actually spelled Barre, makes you hark back to the days of picking up songs off the radio before Ultimate Guitar.

Surprised how old this album is now. Really kicked off a trend of dreary indie. Some tracks are nice and atmospheric, but I can't get over that I've heard them on every tv advert going.

Classic Bowie, forget to listen to the albums as I only knew a couple. Not keen on the weird outro on the title track though.
