One of my favorite Bowie albums. On this one he stretches out and the arrangements get a decidedly jazzy feel on a few songs; especially the title track which features some excellent piano work from Mike Garson. There are still some quality rockers here like Watch That Man and Gene Jeanie as well as the great mid-tempo rocker, one of my favorite Bowie songs of all-time; Panic in Detroit. Other hilights; Cracked Actor as well as an excellent take on The Stones Let's Spend the Night Together. 4 stars
