I have this album on double 45 rpm vinyl and the sound quality is amazing. Side 1 is just excellent 2 + 2 = 5 signals that guitars are making a Radiohead comeback which with Johnny Greenwood always tasteful playing is a good thing. Side 2 starts and ends with synthesizer - drum machine exercises that are tasteful and they bookend an excellent song in Go to Sleep. Side three is the weakest part of the album. It starts with a haunting creepy piano based ballad and continues in the same vein with The Gloaming. Things pick up appreciably after that with There There a pretty straight ahead mid tempo guitar drums number that really takes off as we start hearing guitar layering that gives the song an epic feel. A gorgeous ballad that showcases Thom's beautiful voice ends the side. Side 4 has four more tasteful songs and just maintains the albums high quality. It took me a few listens to re-acquaint myself with this album. In the end I think I appreciate it more now that I did on release. It's marriage of old-school guitar sound with Kid A atmospherics give it a nice balance and variety and previews their next album to come; the brilliant In Rainbows 4 stars
