I won't call II their underrated or underappreciated album because it is highly regarded. But for me it's a bit the forgotten album as I & II and even Zoso, get most of my attention but III is every bit as good and in some ways the superior of the four albums. This is the album where they expand their musical pallette from straight ahead blues rock to incorporate elements of British folk and country-rock and do so beautifully on songs like Tangerine and and Galows Pole and especially Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. Every song on this album deserves classic or at least near-classic status and among the four classic Zeppelin albums it is the most rich and rewarding and varied listen. 5 stars
