I'm a pretty big Wilco but somehow I have overlooked listening to this album. It is a really good sampler of all Wilco's stylistic moods. Country, Americana, indie-pop, noisy rock. All of Jeff Tweedy's many moods are beautifuly represented. Tweedy can write a hook filled song that sticks in your head in just about any style. He is among the most talented songwriters in rock today. I have often wondered why a band like The Eagles reach mega star status and a band like Wilco, arguably crafters of better songs, toils in relative obscurity. I wish the world didn't work that way but it does. 4 stars
