True, there's beauty in sadness, but damn, this album is hella depressing. Feel bad hating on an artist from HoCo, so I won't. This is great music for staring out water-soaked paned glass on a dismal gray day, or soaking in the sadness of a recent loved one that's passed. It was a difficult listen for me because it's sunny here and I've shoved all my sad feelings into the dark places of my soul.
