Get Behind Me Satan
The White Stripes

I love the Stripes butnever gave this album a listen previously. Not sure why as this album has the usual collection of strong song after strong song. The opener, while lacking the power of either Seven Nation Army or Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground is still a hook filled tour de forrce. The album is more varied in arrangements than either Elephant or White Blood Cells with piano riffs showing almost as much as guitar power chords. Another strong effort from Meg and Jack. 4 stars
