I have listened to this album before but I really did not remember it and I’m not going to lie it is not what I expected exactly. That wasn’t exactly a good thing either I was expecting the a few more impressive songs then I heard. I mean it has one of the best and most popular songs from the 80’s on it and previously some super songs but they almost felt like they were trying to be what other bands at the time were. None of it really made sense, everything just sounded like it was made separately and chucked together. The actual ideas are cool different time signatures are nice to listen to but the songs often fell flat to me. It is still a really good era and sound but from what I expected I was not hugely impressed. If it wasn’t for a really good middle section it would be lower but I can’t give it less then a 3.
