Was slightly not looking forward to this as I have heard the other big album riot the last time I tried this 1001 albums and I really didn't enjoy but that was years ago. Maybe I am more open minded or this album is just more my thing but I quite enjoyed it. They were still able to get some great points across along with some really nice songs I would listen to, especially every day people which I think I did recognise. I think my only nitpick is that some of the non standard songs went on too long. Especially the 13 minute instrumental which is unnecessary but not bad because it still sounds good just pretty pointless. Still much better but not a go to genre still for me so although I know lots of people love it and it is important music it is only a 3 because it didn't blow me away. Not that it ruins their point but I couldn't believe how good the quality was I was expecting a rougher record. Stand out songs: Stand! Sing a simple song Everyday People
