Don’t know what was in the air but Americans really started to sound very distinctive in the 90’s. Some super dorky American bands like weezer etc started to pop up. Green day are no exception I’ve always felt a little off about them because they are just so American and kind of cringey. I can’t deny they are good at what they do but I just hear so much of them and it gets a little annoying. People at college especially who only know these mainstream songs really got on my nerves playing the same songs. Still I can’t deny it was fun to listen to even if it felt like it dragged on a bit I still enjoyed it. And that last something was prime weezer that was super cringey, terrible to end on. Nothing special to me not my favourite pop punk but still bearable . 3/5 Stand out songs: Longview Basket case When I come around
