Can't Buy A Thrill
Steely Dan

I'd never actually intentionally listened to Steely Dan, I'd involuntarily heard them on videogame Soundtracks, film and TV Soundtracks, in Markos car ect. But this is the first time I've sat my ass down and LISTENED. I thought I was gonna be a cynic, that it was gonna sound dated, kinda old and mildewy. Some albums from this era take a little bit to get the feel for. To catch what makes them so great, Paul McCartney's "Ram" for instance. This isn't like that at all. Every song is immediately, Jazzy or filled with soft rock joy that doesn't feel stale at all. Instead, fresh and original. Which might sound completely retarded but if this came out today I feel like it would still be a hit. Genuinely feels impossible not to be. 10/10 Fav tracks - All of 'em Least Fav - Perfect Album Particular highlights imo are Dirty Work, Kings and Midnight Cruiser
