Historically, this is the Reagan years, communism and the economic rise of Japan. Working class hero with a guitar from Jersey is all I hear. Beyond the title track being a wolf in sheep's clothing, I never really understood what the big deal was about this album or Springsteen in general. Does this album still have a place in 2024?
