Yawn. This is really predictable 1960s soul even though to me it's lacking the latter. I read he is a preacher, I'm not surprised. Give me James Brown or Otis Redding any time, but this album is historical interest only (I think). A 2* because he sings OK and I suppose it's not bad 'in its genre'.
