A fine album with 4 or 5 top notch songs. The 3 opening songs set the tone and get the album started really well, Sledgehammer might be his best "dance" tune with a killer bass line that drives the song. And the last 2 songs are as good as Peter Gabriel gets. The duet with Laurie Anderson is my sleeper pick from this album. A notch below PG 3, but about as good as mainstream rock music got in the mid 80s. 4 stars.
