I love Janis Joplin's vocals and they shine on this album with mostly blues/rock with a nice rough edge (plus a few great covers like "Piece of my Heart" and "Summertime"). Nearly a 5 but a few songs (like the slow blues) are a bit less interesting and they faked a live sound by adding recorded applause to studio recordings. But still, a great album that sounds and feels very "period" in the best possible way.
