Great songs and captivating arrangements. Unique sound that defies categorization. Plenty of drama and emotion within the music. Definitely can get lost in the complexity of the music which did push me away in the first couple of listens and it does bog down under it's own weight of complex rhythms and unusual chord changes in the middle. Perhaps a littl too long for its own good. But if you wade through the denseness of the arrangements I think you'll find worthwhile songs and music within. If you're a fan of Rufus Wainwright I think you'll like this record. 3.5 stars
