Lot of great stuff on this album - Sunday Shining and Ultra Stimulation are highlights. But there’s also a lot of filler - if the last four tracks were removed then I think this would be a great album. Red Rolled and Seen feels like the background music of a Crash Bandicoot game - there are a couple other tracks like this which are repetitive and irritating. Regardless, Finley Quaye remains Scotland’s finest reggae artist. I feel confident in saying that’s something nobody will ever take away from him.
