Everything Must Go
Manic Street Preachers

This album proves the marketing principle that if you want to make something popular, make it bland. I've always found the Preachers very boring but (as a result) never listened to an entire album. I did now and won't do it again. This sounds like a local teenage band - alright with a pint of Guinness in the Rose and Crown on Friday evenings. I find is musically very weak, it's just a bunch of 1990's clichés (OK then, dated now) with samey (and unpleasantly shouty) vocals. But hey, they call themselves preachers after all. Bumped a point because some songs are catchy (A Design for Life, Kevin Carter).
