If you’ve ever been to an open mic night at a pub or coffee house, you’ve heard something like this: a guy and his guitar playing original music when everyone really wishes he’d just play covers. It’s fine I guess but ultimately so banal that I’m deducting a star for taking Heart or Neutral Milk Hotel (or any other better music’s) spot.
