Preppy Brit Pop from the late 80's / early 90's. This album influenced one of my favorites, BRMC. Coincidentally (or not) the best song on this 1989 album is "Don't Stop," whereas in 2003, BRMC's single from Take Them On was "Stop." What BRMC did was take the psychedelia and add some America grit and attitude. The Stone Roses is an acquired taste for people born in the early '70s.
