Duck Rock
Malcolm McLaren

I'm not usually one to have a one or two sentence review for an album. I try to respect the creative process of most any artist, but this is mostly junk with little in the way of coherence to make it sound of a piece. Seems to simply exploit the fashion of the day (ie. the South African sounds that come toward the end). Given Malcolm McLaren built a career around exploiting the fashion of the day - maybe that's the point. I might rate it higher without the inane rambling of the DJ interspersed throughout the album. 2 stars
