It's literally impossible for me (as well as probably thousands of other millennials) to rate this album with an objective lens, as we were subjected to listening to it literally countless times on car rides listening to FM radio - and there is a part of my brain that correlates these songs to the slow death of FM radio, and how it's JUST the same 10-15 songs which are played on the airwaves. But setting that aside... this is a monster of a classic rock album - and a debut album at that! Despite being played to death, I still found my adrenaline starting to pump while doing a full album listen - especially during the opening/buildup up "Foreplay". Yeah it's all a bunch of mid-70s rock cheese.. but who doesn't love cheese now and then?
