I find this really hard to rate. I'm not the biggest Beatles fan but understand how novel they were (not their earlier work TBH which I find quiet poor) and they are of course hugely influential. For me, this is probably my favourite Beatles album, some great songs, some OK and in true Beatles fashion there has to be a bad song too - this would be "When I'm 64" here but it's still not as bad as some. I like that this is a concept album. I like the creativity and the psychedelic sound. I'd give it a 3 for what this is worth to me (I never feel the urge to play this album) with 1.5 bonus points for novelty and impact. So that rounds to a (low) 5. Of course, this has to be on the list (even if it was a list of 10 or 20 albums I'd say).
