My problem with Lana continues to be that she's a one trick pony. She writes sad, haunting ballads and she writes them well. But it's all she writes. You know exactly what you're in for when you listen to a Lana album. If you're into it, it won't disappoint but, if you're not, you're going to get bored quickly. She needs to understand that she'll never top Video Games in the genre of sad, haunting ballad. Everything else falls short. Move on, Lana. Make a synth pop album.
