This album is great, Al Green is a king of soul. He wrote "Take Me To The River", which is my favorite song on Stop Making Sense. My favorite songs were "La-La For You" and "I've Never Found a Girl". The sound did manage to get a little old for me, even with the 34 minute run-time. "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" in particular was long for me. 7/10
