I think the first half of this album is pretty good. "Beyond Belief" is great, and "Man Out of Time", "Tears Before Bedtime", and "...And in Every Home" are all good songs. However, the second half is really a slog for me. I feel like in this era of Elvis, he's afraid of rocking out too much ("Show me where the electric guitar hurt you, Elvis!") and there's just no energy anywhere. 3 stars.
