A mostly more consistent album than Figure 8. Similar that former album though I felt like the middle was a bit of a lull compared to the strength of its opening tracks as well as landing on its feet with some great ones to close on too. His music (especially in its quieter parts) reminds me more of a jam session/stream of consciousness performed from ones dorm room. An oddly warm feeling for someone who obviously went through a lot of coldness in his life
