I feel like electronic albums from around the turn of the century are often the coolest, They often feel as though they are looking to create something that has come from the future. Even in cases such as this where everything has actually come from the past. Genuinely the only time I had concerns about this album not landing for me was right at the beginning, the opening track was nice but hearing that some of the samples had bled into the next track had me worried that these samples were going to be frankensteined together for another hour. Thankfully I was just overreacting and it was instead another reason I appreciated this album. the way everything blends from one track to the next seamlessly makes this feel so comprehensive as a full album experience. This isn't to say that the individual tracks are weak either, they're all incredibly varied and satisfying listens, constantly shifting the tone of the album in fresh ways. The seamless transitions actually help each track stand out more in my opinion, as the natural shift from one track to the next really highlights the differences in one another, and having them dynamically adjust while you're listening almost makes it feel like you are window shopping different attractions, each with their own theme or style. 10 pending copyright lawsuits / 10. This list seems to do a lot better at picking their electronic albums than with some genres, where it feels as though they'll include any british wanker with a guitar and a set of drums in his garage
