I've heard some of the songs on this album hundreds of times. "Bridge over Troubled" is an absolutely beautiful song. I have a fondness for the singer with a piano, and this song is that combo at its best. It's cool that Art sings the entire song. I didn't know until this listen-through that El Condor Pasa is a cover of a famous peruvian song. The instrumental backing is fantastic, but the added vocals don't do too much for me. The lyrics are simple but funny, I'd also rather be a hammer than a nail. Paul Simon has such a nice voice. "Cecilia" is a classic. I've listened to this song so much. The percussion is awesome. The horns and vocals on "Keep the Customer Satisfied" are awesome. I guess I am his customer, although I'd never thought of it like that. "The Boxer" is another song I've listened to hundreds of times. Beautiful lyrics, vocals, instrumentals. "Baby Driver" is a fun folksy tone-change. I love the guitar and percussion. The vocals are really fun too. "Why Don't You Write Me" has some horns that absolutely hit me like a truck. They came out of nowhere and took center stage. "Bye Bye Love" is an alright song, but it's odd that they did a studio recording with live audience noises put over it? This album has one or two songs that I like, and nine or ten songs that I love. It's close to flawless and is a perfect match for my taste. 10/10
