I am listening to this album directly after "Napalm Death". It's like slipping into a nice warm bath after being dunked in a swamp. The velvet underground are a salve for my weary soul. "Candy Says" is a very pretty song. I love the quiet harmonies and the peaceful guitar. The opening riff on "Some Kinda Love" is so nice. The vocals sit on top of it very nicely. "The Murder Mystery" is tripping me out. "After Hours" might be my favorite song on the record. This is a pleasant album. Nothing blows my mind, but I like it. 7/10
